But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Many endured tremendous hardships this past year, as our liberties were under greater assault than I’ve seen in my lifetime. As we pass from one year to the next, I’m meditating on the passage in Isaiah that reminds us the Lord will renew our strength. I’m absolutely certain God will give us the strength we need in the new year to press on and fulfill the mission He has for us.
Our prayer for 2022 is that God would renew our strength for the tough battles ahead. We also ask Him for grace to stand firm under the intense pressures that come in the current political and cultural landscape. And finally, we ask for His great mercy, which He promised to renew for us every day.
Don’t let the noise and chaos distract you as we embark on a new year together. May we always keep our eyes on the Savior and press forward together toward the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus! Happy New Year from the National Center for Life and Liberty.
